MILWAUKEE -- "Weird Al" Yankovic, popular music's foremost satirist, is making a return to Wisconsin.
Yankovic will perform at Milwaukee's Pabst Theater on Tuesday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 20 at 12:00 p.m. You can get more ticket information here.
This will be a different kind of "Weird Al" show, with no costumes, props, or video screens. "The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" will be performing exclusively in intimate theaters and smaller venues.
"After his highly successful Mandatory World Tour (200 dates including the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall), Yankovic decided that he wanted to take a break from the high-octane theatrics that he’s known for and go bare-bones," a news release said.
Yankovic's most recent release, 2014's "Mandatory Fun," was the first comedy album in history to debut at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart.
