A former strip club is about to become a place of learning.

Ozaukee Christian School bought the old Spearment Rhino Gentleman's Club.

"We think God has a great sense of humor," said Kris Austin, admistrator of Ozaukee Christian School.

Austin said this is a story only God could write.

"A place that is demeaning to woman and also to men is now going to transform boys and girls to lead within our families and our communities," she said.

For two years, the school was eyeing the former strip club. School officials said at first the owners didn't want to sell, hen the price was too high, but finally, the two sides reached a deal last week.

So Ozaukee Christian is leaving behind its Saukville location and moving to the Town of Trenton.

"Twenty percent of our student body comes from the Washington County area, so we felt it was a good move to be closer to them and grow our enrollment," said Austin. "We have also been looking for a permanent building. We have leased for 29 years."

Ozaukee Christian School said if all goes as planned it will open in the new building by the end of August.
