The Waukesha Fire and Police Departments were called to a structure fire at 421 Lemira Ave. on Aug. 22, around 7:30 a.m.
Responding units found a detached garage engulfed in flames, spreading to the house and neighboring garage.

According to the fire department, units were able to quickly extinguish the fire limiting damage to only the exterior. Damage is estimated to over $100,000.
All occupants were able to exit safely without any injuries reported.
The cause of fire is still under investigation. The Waukesha Fire Department reminds everyone to use caution when disposing charcoal and ashes.
