The Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, Inc. took in nearly 100 animals affected by flooding concerns in Oklahoma.
The humane society welcomed puppies, dogs, cats and kittens as part of their Emergency Placement Partnership with the Humane Society of the United States.
The Shelter Ally Project hub in Tulsa, Okla. needed to transfer the animals out of the shelter quickly due to potential severe weather over the weekend.
All the animals are currently undergoing spay/neuter surgeries and are being placed for adoption. For viewing and photos, contact HAWS at 262-542-8851, or log onto hawspets.org.
