Waukesha Generac teams to deploy to Louisiana in response to Hurricane Delta

Delta remains a major category 3 hurricane as Louisiana braces for impact

WAUKESHA — In response to anticipated power outages from Hurricane Delta, Generac Power Systems in Waukesha will send storm response teams to assist in Louisiana.

Five teams of two technicians will leave Waukesha by 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, and head to Louisiana, according to Generac.

Once there, teams will work on fixing portable and home standby units.

Marshall Lewis, technical services senior manager, is leading the Generac storm response team to assist during and after Hurricane Delta.
