WATERTOWN — Watertown Catholic School has canceled classes on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a high number of influenza cases.
The school said that there was over 22 percent of the student body not in attendance Monday. The closure of the school also included daycare, 3K, 4K, basketball practices, religious education classes and all outside organizations.
Precautionary measures are being taken to disinfect both campuses.
The school will reopen Jan. 30.
The school reminds parents to keep their child(ren) at home if they are exhibiting any strep/flu-like symptoms.
