MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Tool will build a new manufacturing plant in West Bend.

The company made the announcement Monday along with West Bend officials.

Groundbreaking will take place in April for the $26 million project.

When it opens, the new plant will create 50 high-skilled manufacturing jobs with the plan to hire a total of 100 by the end of 2025.

Milwaukee Tool said the new location will manufacture new hand tools for professional electricians and utility linemen.

This will be the first tenant of the West Bend Manufacturing Center located along River Road, north of County Highway NN.

Milwaukee Tool's global headquarters are located in Brookfield.
