CHICAGO -- An airplane burst into flames Friday afternoon at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport after a tire blew and damaged an engine.
Eight people were hurt, and the passengers on board understandably panicked as they smelled the smoke and saw flames shooting up.
Facebook user Hector Gustavo Cardenas was one passenger on board that flight, and he filmed the chaos on his phone as everyone rushed for the exits. Just watch (WARNING: video contains some graphic language):
"15 seconds later would have been [in] the air and would have been a good bye. Food for thought, don't take anything for granted," Cardenas wrote in the video's caption, "...because you just never know."
