The Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Milwaukee Police Department brought to end a two-month drug investigation, seizing $15,000 of drugs in the process.

According to WCSO, in December the department's drug unit began investigating a Milwaukee man suspected of distributing heroin and crack cocaine to residents of Washington County.

On Feb. 21, Washington County drug unit officials, assisted by MPD District 4 and MPD's Tactical Unit, executed a search warrant at the suspect's home in the 4700 block of North 28th Street.

In addition to $15,000 of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and meth, police say they also seized four handguns, multiple extended magazines and a loaded drum magazine. Officers also confiscated more than $36,000 cash from the home.

The suspect has since been been charged with three counts of delivery of heroin and three counts of delivery of cocaine. Additional charges are pending.
