BURLINGTON — Waller Elementary's first grade class in Burlington is shifting to online-only classes after one person tested positive.
A school spokesperson tells TMJ4 News that all virtual learning begins Friday, Sept. 25. In-person learning may return as early as Oct. 5.
Some students in the first grade class will likely need to quarantine, if they had close contact with the person who tested positive.
Earlier in the school year, Waller's 5th graders shifted to virtual learning, but have since resumed learning in-person, according to the spokesperson.
