Vince Vitrano is about to add another hit to his list of extreme reporting duties for TODAY’S TMJ4.
In his 16 years at the station, Vince has passed out in a fighter jet, rappelled off Lambeau Field and Miller Park, and this weekend will take the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Wisconsin.
Saturday's plunge, at the Milwaukee County Zoo, is a fundraiser for the organization which supports 10,000 mentally challenged athletes in Wisconsin. Vince is a member of the Board of Directors, and has supported Special Olympics for more than a decade.

“Being around our athletes is an inspiration,” Vince said of his work with Special Olympics. “They overcome fears, anxiety, and a host of other obstacles to compete in our events, and it motivates me to do the same.”
A long time MC for the annual Polar Plunge in Muskego, Vince knows he will have to draw on that inspiration to finally throw himself into the freezing water.
Stay tuned for the pictures and video.
Vince is hoping to raise $5,000 with his plunge. If you’d like to donate, support Vince's efforts on his fundraising page.
