A 55-year-old Village of Richfield man suffered minor injuries after a turkey struck his car's windshield Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 1:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of Hwy Q.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the turkey attempted to take flight from a ditch area and ended up hitting the car’s windshield.
Officials say the driver was injured from being cut by flying glass.
