Police say an "armed and extremely dangerous" man who reportedly shot three people at two different locations and kidnapped his girlfriend has been taken into custody.
Eddison Jesus Noyola, 27, and his girlfriend, 30-year-old Andrea Dixon, were located by Glendale officers in a stolen vehicle, Phoenix police officials said Thursday morning.
Noyola reportedly stole a gun and a white Chevy Malibu from family members in Glendale late Tuesday night.
According to officials, he said he was going to find Dixon, and harm her and himself.
Around 11 p.m., Noyola went to an apartment near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road where he forced entry and shot two men.
The victims, both 22 years old, are said to be in critical condition.
Approximately 30 minutes later, he went to an area near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, where he shot a man and kidnapped Dixon.
The shooting victim at that scene, a 23-year-old man, is also said to be in critical condition.
Noyola and Dixon were unaccounted for until around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, when Noyola went to an acquaintance’s home near 67th and Peoria avenues. There he reportedly stole a 2006 Toyota Highlander and fled the scene.
The stolen vehicle was spotted by a Glendale patrol officer on Thunderbird Road. Both Noyola and Dixon were in the vehicle and were taken into custody, unharmed.
Police say Dixon was with Noyola when the vehicle theft occurred, but it doesn’t appear she was a suspect in the theft.
"I don't know why he did this, we don't really know. But regardless, turn yourself in! It will help you,” said Ruth Aguirre, Noyola’s mother, before they were located.
Aguirre cares for Noyola’s young daughter who has autism. She asked ABC15 to show the girl on camera, in hopes that it would change her son’s mind about running from police or harming others.
"Look at your daughter. If you don't do it for us, do it for her,” she said.
Noyola's sister told ABC15 when he stole the car, he was in an emotional rage and made comments about harming Dixon.
Police say Noyola was believed to be armed and extremely dangerous.
In Facebook pictures, Noyola is seen posing with guns. His sister says he's addicted to meth.
“You need to pray that the people you hurt don't die, that will make things much more serious,” said Aguirre. "I raised a good son, with a good heart. With love and respect. I don't know what happened."
The stolen Malibu was found near 15th Avenue and Polk Street sometime Wednesday, according to an afternoon update from Phoenix police.
Noyola was booked into Maricopa County Jail on charges including three counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of burglary, one count of kidnapping and one count of aggravated assault.
Dixon has not been charged with any crimes as of Friday.
