MILWAUKEE — Uber is launching several efforts to get voters to the polls in Milwaukee - including deploying food trucks to polling places.
The effort involving food trucks, called “Pizza to the Polls,” will offer free milk bars for people who show up at the polls. The trucks will head to polling places in 25 cities, including here in Milwaukee.
Uber is also launching a feature on its app that helps users find their polling place and request an absentee ballot.
In partnership with TurboVote, Uber has launched an app that helps residents register to vote.
