The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double homicide that occurred on Saturday, Jan. 2, at approximately 12:24 a.m., on the 3400 block of W. Hampton Ave.
Police say the two victims, a 22-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, were in a parked car and were both shot multiple times.
Life-saving measures were administered by first responders, but both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Milwaukee police are seeking an unknown suspect at this time.
According to police, these are the first homicides of 2021.
