NEAR JUNEAU — One person is dead and two others are injured after a driver was struck by a tractor trailer in Dodge County Monday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports the crash happened around 4:22 p.m. at the intersection of County Highway A at County Highway W in the Town of Oak Grove, near Juneau.
An initial investigation found that a driver of an Oldsmobile sedan failed to yield at a stop sign, and was struck by an incoming tractor trailer. The impact then pushed the Oldsmobile into a Dodge County Sheriff deputy's squad car, who was waiting to turn.
The driver of the Oldsmobile died at the scene, while the deputy and the tractor driver suffered minor injuries.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family members.
