MILWAUKEE — Three people jumped out of the second story window of their Milwaukee home to escape a fire Thursday night, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.
The fire happened just before 9 p.m. near 63rd and Carmen Streets in Milwaukee.
All three people who jumped out of the building were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, MFD said.
The fire department said that the responding crew was able to put out the basement fire in a matter of minutes.
