MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee Police Officer was featured on the Kelly Clarkson show Tuesday after he bought car seats for a mother and her two daughters.
Officer Kevin Zimmerman of MPD was on patrol back in October when he spotted a car with the wrong registration. After he pulled the car over, he saw three kids in the backseat and none of them had car seats.
What Zimmerman did next is being talked about nationwide, including on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Zimmerman dipped into his own pocket and bought two car seats for the family.
Clarkson has a segment on her show called #WhatI'mLiking and during Monday's show, she talked about Zimmerman and his generous gesture to a family in need.
Following Clarkson's interview with Zimmerman, she wraps the segment up by saying, "I just want to say thank you so much for being such a rad human."
