MILWAUKEE -- A 16-year-old boy died Tuesday morning in Milwaukee after he was thrown off the hood of a car. The victim has been identified as Joseph Blunt.
It happened around 10:20 a.m. in the 3300 block of N. 12th Street.
According to Milwaukee police, a 21-year-old man started driving with Blunt still on the hood of his car. The driver suddenly braked which threw the teen off the car.
The teen was taken to a local hospital and he later died of his injuries.
Police have taken the driver into custody.
