A former teacher’s aide in St. Francis who had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy has been sentenced to two years behind bars.
Kimberly Gersonde, 24, allegedly met the boy in Menomonee Falls when he was 15.
Gersonde was monitoring lunch and study halls when police said she started a sexual relationship with a student in the spring. The two communicated through text message and Twitter.
Another sex enticement charge involving a teen was dismissed by the court.
Gersonde will also get three years extended supervision as part of her sentence, and she will register as a sex offender.
