MILWAUKEE — At about 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Milwaukee Police arrested a 35-year-old Milwaukee man in connection with the shooting of a 5-year-old girl in an apparent road rage incident.
The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from road rage, in which words were exchanged between the drivers of two vehicles.
The shooting suspect exited his vehicle and shot into the other vehicle, striking a 5-year-old passenger, according to MPD.
The 5-year-old victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was brought to a local hospital for treatment.
This is an ongoing investigation, and criminal charges will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
