A Sturtevant man is facing charges accused of the repeated sexual assault of a child.
According to the criminal complaint, Matthew Vivio sexually assaulted his girlfriend's 10- year- old daughter multiple times.
The girl told police the assaults began when she was eight.
If convicted he faces a maximum sentence of 40 years behind bars.
