MILWAUKEE — Stone Creek Coffee announced Tuesday that they would be closing Radio MKE Cafe on Nov. 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Facebook post, Stone Creek Coffee said that all the Radio MKE Cafe employees will still be employed by Stone Creek, they will just work at different cafes in the area.
Additionally, they stated that no other cafes have plans to close at this time.
"We are proud of our collaborative work and partnership with Radio Milwaukee over the many years since their earliest days on Vliet Street. However, the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic have brought about the necessity to close this cafe," wrote Stone Creek Coffee in their Facebook post.
The shop will remain open through Sunday, Nov. 15. However, after that, coffee lovers will have to visit their nearby Bay View cafe or other cafes in the area.
