MILWAUKEE — On Thursday, Sprecher Brewery gave away 16,000 root beer floats for free.
The free floats were apart of Sprecher's Root Beer Float Day celebration. Prior to the event, Sprecher stated that they were hoping to set the Guinness world record for the largest root beer float drive-thru.

to share that we served over 16,000 root beer floats to
the people of Milwaukee! Thanks again to our
partners & volunteers. Stay tuned to see if we set a Guinness World Record! pic.twitter.com/nwgPCkQQQZ
It is unknown at this time if they were able to set the record. But either way, 16,000 floats is a lot and it surely made many Wisconsinites happy on Thursday.
If you didn't get a chance to get a root beer float on Thursday, don't worry. Sprecher opens at 11 a.m. daily. Just know, though, that your float will not be free!
