Getting to Houston just got a lot easier for Milwaukee-area travelers.
The first passengers on a new direct Southwest Airlines from Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport to Houston-Hobby Airport will take to the skies Thursday morning.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele and other dignitaries will be on hand to celebrate the news at 9:30 a.m. in Concourse C.
