MILWAUKEE - For 50 years, Summerfest has always made the music on stage sound seamless. It may be a challenge to keep it that way in the rain.

West Allis-based company Clearwing Productions set up all the technical equipment on every Summerfest stage.

They had to cord 60 miles of cable and more than 300 speakers before opening day.

As long as there is no lightning, there should be no problem. But they do have one fear.

"The mixing boards getting wet. That's show-critical," said Bryan Brunclik of Clearwing Productions.

The company logged more than 600 miles going from West Allis to the Summerfest grounds to get all the equipment up and working.
