Slick conditions have led to multiple accidents in Mount Pleasant as lake-effect snow hits the area.
Mount Pleasant police told TODAY'S TMJ4 that a number of accidents occurred near Highway 20 and across the village.
The city of Milwaukee has sent out 18 salt trucks to treat bridges and overpasses in the city as lake-effect snow falls in the city.
Slippery road conditions have been reported throughout SE Wisconsin as the snow starts to fall.
The Department of Public Works said drivers should slow down and plan extra time when driving.
They also ask drivers give salt trucks plenty of room while they clear the streets.
