SHOREWOOD — The Shorewood Police Department is investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that took place Friday afternoon.
Police responded to the 3500 block of N. Maryland Ave. shortly before 1:30 p.m. Friday, near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. At that time, the victim was seated inside a vehicle that was parked on the driveway of a home in the area.
The victim told police shortly after the vehicle had been started, two male suspects, dressed in all black clothing, approached the vehicle. One suspect demanded that the victim exit the vehicle and implied he had a weapon. Both suspects then entered the vehicle and drove off.
