WISCONSIN — The Wisconsin State Shopping Angels are now providing free grocery delivery for citizens during the pandemic.

Due to the pandemic, some people may not feel safe going out and getting groceries or doing anything else for that matter. Luckily, the Shopping Angels are around to help.

The Shopping Angels are working to provide free grocery delivery service to high-risk populations within the state.

The angels will go to the store, get your groceries, and deliver them right to your doorstep, therefore limiting your exposure to COVID-19.

According to the Shopping Angels, "Shopping Angels’ services appeals to high-risk populations, to include (but not be limited to) senior citizens, parents of young infants, individuals who may have cardiac, respiratory, or immunodeficiencies, as well as individuals who may be self-isolating due to possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus."

In order to sign up for the service, you can head to the Shopping Angels website and fill out their "Request Services" form. From there, you will be paired with an angel in your area.

Once customers get paired with an angel, they simply have to provide a shopping list and the angel will do the rest. Once the angel returns with your groceries and receipt, you must immediately reimburse the angel.

Right now, there are over 50 volunteers a part of Wisconsin's Shopping Angels. However, they are always looking for more volunteers.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer angel, you can complete the volunteer form on the Shopping Angels website.
