Sheboygan Police: Unresponsive infant pronounced dead

Sheboygan Police said a male infant died after a call for an unresponsive child Tuesday. 

In a news release, police said they were called out to a residence near 27th Street and Center Avenue Tuesday afternoon on a report of an unresponsive child. 

The 1-year-old male was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The cause of death was not released, and police said an autopsy is pending.
