SHEBOYGAN FALLS -- A Sheboygan falls family who lost three of their four children in a house fire, speak out for the first time in public.

"I've thought about quitting everything and literally just hiding away until this life is over and I can be reunited with my kids," said Krisi Maki, mother.

Last Thursday was the one year anniversary of the deadly fire. Chris and Krisi Maki spoke about their painful journey at Crossroads Community Church in Sheboygan.

The fire happened while the parents were at bible study. Their 11-year-old daughter Natalie ran back into the house to save her 7-year-old brother Carter and 10-year-old brother Ben, after bringing her 9-year-old sister Jenna to safety.

The Maki's thanked the community for the outpouring of support and know the children would want them to live on.

"The little things in life don't matter if the house isn't super picked up so what," said Chris Maki, Father.
