Sen. Ron Johnson hasn’t received any potatoes, despite the claim from the makers of the game Cards Against Humanity to do so.

Last Friday, the game makers started a campaign to mail potatoes to the senator until he holds an in-person town hall meeting.

Johnson’s office updated TODAY’S TMJ4 that they have not received any potatoes.

If they do receive these potatoes of protest, Johnson’s office plans to donate them to food banks.

Over the weekend, Cards Against Humanity set up a website that makes it easier for people to purchase a potato and send the spud to Johnson’s Milwaukee office.

The campaign comes as voters are calling for Republican lawmakers to host town hall meetings where they can voice their disdain for policies such as repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.
