ASHWAUBENON -- With the roads covered in snow and slush, Ashwaubenon Public Safety is reminding people to slow down.
Monday morning, a semi-truck ran a red light and struck an Ashwaubenon Public Safety Patrol Car. Luckily, the officer driving came away without injuries.
The impact of the accident caused the patrol car to enter the median near the intersection of Eastbound Cormier Rd. at Southbound Ashland Ave.
The road was closed for 2.5 hours and the driver of the semi-truck was cited for operating too fast for conditions.
