Search begins for suspect who robbed 13th St. business

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help locating a man they say robbed a business Wednesday.

MPD says the armed robbery happened in the 3000 block of South 13th Street just before 2 p.m.

Police say the suspect entered the business and took property without paying. When confronted by an employee, he implied he had a weapon. He left on foot.

The suspect is described as 20-25 years of age, 5’06”, 150 pounds and had a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white State of Wisconsin logo on the front, face mask and black pants.
