School districts beginning to cancel classes ahead of wind chill warning

As the dreadful 60 below wind chill temperatures head towards southeast Wisconsin, school districts in our viewing area are beginning to call off Wednesday classes.

A wind chill advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday which will then be followed by a Wind Chill Warning in effect until noon Thursday.

The following school districts have announced classes will not be in session:

  • Cedarburg
  • Elmbrook
  • Franklin
  • Greendale
  • Greenfield
  • Grafton
  • New Berlin
  • Oconomowoc
  • Racine
  • Saint Francis
  • Shorewood
  • Waukesha
  • West Allis-West Milwaukee
  • Whitefish Bay
  • Whitnall
