Dangerous, life-threatening cold moves into southeast Wisconsin tonight

Watch out for some black ice this morning, even the interstates and main highways have some patchy ice. Temperatures in the single digits this morning will be as warm as we get the next few days as we fall below zero again this afternoon. Wind chills today will range from -15 to -25.

The extreme cold moves in tonight. It will become extremely dangerous to be outside. Lows tonight fall into the -20s and wind chills dip to -50 by early tomorrow. At some point tomorrow morning, the wind chill may reach -60 in spots. The high temperatures on Wednesday will only be around -13. It should stay dangerously cold on Thursday then we start warming on Friday. We cannot stress enough, please take this cold serious and limit your time outside.
