A tipped semi-truck caused all lanes of I-43 South to be closed at North Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities confirmed that a semi-truck transporting cheese tipped over near the North Avenue off-ramp about 3:05 p.m. The driver needed to be extricated from the vehicle, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.

Traffic was diverted at North Avenue while crews cleared the expressway. The driver was transported to Froedtert Hospital with injuries, the Milwaukee Fire Department said.
