MILWAUKEE -- It turns out that this popular comedy show won't always be here for you after all, as one of the most popular sitcoms of all-time, "Friends," will be leaving Netflix on New Year's Day.
Business Insiderreports "Friends," and all 230 of its episodes have been on Netflix since 2014, but it appears the streaming service is continuing to shift towards airing its own "Netflix Original" productions.
The show was nominated for 62 Emmy Awards, winning six of them. It also won a Golden Globe and six People's Choice Awards during its 10 seasons.
There have been no reports of the sitcom joining another streaming service, but it will still be aired on its usual television channels.
