MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are searching for the gunman who fired multiple shots —two bullets hitting the windshield of a truck while another hit a home. The truck driver then hitting three parked cars.

According to police, it started with a shooting —multiple witnesses report hearing at least ten gunshots.

“I know gunshots when I hear them and it was 10 to 15 shots probably, fast and hard,” a neighbor said.

The neighbor who spoke with TODAY'S TMJ4 didn’t want to give his name or show his face. He said he was awake when he heard shots fired outside his home near 2nd and Lloyd just before 11:30 Wednesday night.

“[It was] rapid fire and then a big explosion then I looked out my window and there was a car rolled over, [and] all these cars hit,” he said.

When police arrived on scene they noticed a Dodge RAM pickup truck on its side with at least two bullet holes in the windshield —the driver of that truck hit these three parked cars leaving behind a mangled mess. A home was also hit by a bullet. The neighbor was stunned.

"I [couldn't] believe that’s happening on my street right where I live,” the neighbor said.

The truck driver and passenger walked away with minor injuries, but police said no one else was hurt. The department believes the victims were targeted, and the incident is still under investigation as police search for the shooter.
