Racine police arrest suspect in Thursday morning homicide

RACINE — The Racine Police have arrested a suspect in a homicide that occurred Thursday morning, officials said.

Police responded to a call near the 1600 block of Flett Avenue around 5 a.m. There they found a man who suffered a gun shot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. The identity of the deceased man has not been released.

Police said they have arrested a suspect in connection with the homicide near the 1100 block of Racine Street.
