KENOSHA — Indian Trail High School and Academy had a power outage due to an ice storm during the ACT assessment for 11th-grade students Wednesday morning, the Kenosha Unified School District said in a news release.

The outage forced the cancellation of the assessment. Students were scheduled to be released soon, and adjustments were planned for students who did not have immediate transportation.

Information about rescheduling the ACT will be released later this week, school officials said.

We Energies said more than 1,300 people were without power as of 11:40 a.m., including about 1,000 in Kenosha.
