PORT WASHINGTON -- A Port Washington couple made a startling discovery while cleaning their garage on Monday afternoon.
According to the release, the couple discovered a grenade in their garage and took it to the Port Washington Police Department.
The woman arrived at the police station and requested that they dispose of it.
The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad arrived and determined that it was a training grenade that presented no danger.
The scene was cleared just before 6 p.m.
