MILWAUKEE — Police are searching for suspects after the Speedway gas station on Burleigh Street was looted late Wednesday night.
Milwaukee police say the suspects are believed to be associated with the protest that marched through Wauwatosa following the Joseph Mensah decision.
Unidentified suspects broke into the Speedway at North 92nd Street and West Burleigh Street just before 10 p.m., damaged property and stole items before leaving, according to MPD.
No injuries were reported.
Wauwatosa police say that following the burglary at the Speedway, the same suspects forced their way into a construction site on the Mount Mary Campus.
