Police looking for person of interest in West Milwaukee shooting

WEST MILWAUKEE  -- Police are looking for a person of interest in relation to a shooting that occurred on Monday in West Milwaukee.

Around 1:38 p.m. on March 19, the West Milwaukee Police Department and the West Allis Police Department received calls about shots fired near the 1700 block of S 45. Police from both departments went to the 1700-1800 S54 and the alley between 54 and 55. 

The officers cleared the residence, including removing a 2-year-old from the scene. Officers reunited the child with the mother in a safe location.

West Milwaukee Police have reason to believe that the man pictured above is a person of interest in the case.
