PLYMOUTH — Plymouth Police are continuing to search for Kevan McClintock, 63, after he reportedly jumped into the Mullet Riverafter his dog.

McClintock of the town of Greenbush was reported missing about 1 p.m. Thursday. The animal was later found by a friend.

McClintock was last seen by the Mullet River in downtown Plymouth at 12:30 a.m.

No one saw McClintock enter the water, and initially it was presumed he went to a local tavern, police said.

Later that morning, the friend who retrieved the dog became more concerned because McClintock did not go to the tavern and his car was still in the downtown area.

Officers are focusing their search efforts along the river and have requested help from the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Drone Team and a helicopter from the Wisconsin National Guard.

High water and fast-moving currents are making the search difficult, according to police.
