Plymouth police officers are searching for a 63-year-old Kevan McClintock after he jumped into the river after his dog.
McClintock was reported missing about 1 p.m. Thursday. He was last seen near the Mullet River in Plymouth when his dog jumped in the river, and he went in after it. The animals was later found by a friend.
Officers are focusing their search efforts along the river and have requested help from the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Drone Team and a helicopter from the Wisconsin National Guard.
High water and fast-moving currents are making the search difficult, according to police.
The search for the man will be suspended at dusk and resume Friday morning.
