KENOSHA, Wis. -- A Burlington man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 94 near Highway 158 in Kenosha County.
The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says the 30-year-old man was hit by a sport utility vehicle about 3 a.m. Thursday. He died at the scene.
Authorities didn't immediately identify him. It wasn't immediately clear why he was in the roadway.The two people in the vehicle weren't hurt.
The accident closed the freeway for a couple of hours, but it reopened around 5:30 a.m. that morning.
