GREEN BAY — Packers Offensive Tackle Jared Veldheer, who just signed with the team on Tuesday, has tested positive for COVID-19, ESPN's NFL Insider Field Yates reports.
Veldheer is now on the team's COVID-19 list, just days before the Packers play the LA Rams in the NFC divisional playoff game Saturday, the Packers confirmed.
The Packers have yet to say if the virus had spread among other players.
Veldheer was the Indianapolis Colts’ starting left tackle for their 27-24 AFC first-round playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills last weekend.
The Packers have placed recently signed OT Jared Veldheer on the COVID-19 list as a result of a positive test.
