An online fundraiser has been created for the family of one of the victims in the Molson Coors mass shooting Wednesday.

Police say 51-year-old Anthony Ferrill opened fire at Molson Coors Wednesday and killed five people before turning the gun on himself. 57-year-old Dana Walk was one of the victims.

According to the Kettle Moraine School District, Walk was a 1981 graduate. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters and a son. The following email was sent to families in the district:

Dear KM Community,

We are deeply saddened by the senseless violence and lives lost yesterday in Milwaukee at Molson Coors. We are especially distraught knowing one of our Lasers, and neighbor in Delafield, has been named as one of the victims.

Dana Walk, who graduated in 1981 from Kettle Moraine High School, was one of the five victims shot and killed Feb. 26 at Molson Coors. Dana and his wife Dorinda proudly saw their girls Michelle and Melanie graduate from KMHS in 2012.

Our hearts are heavy, but we stand ready to assist Dana’s family however we can.

Again, we offer our deepest sympathy to the Walk family and all in the KM community who called Dana their friend.

Sincerely,

Kettle Moraine School District
