WAUKESHA COUNTY -- One person is dead after a semi truck and SUV collided on a Menomonee Falls road Wednesday morning.
It happened just after 9:30 a.m. on Boundary Road, just south of County Line Road.
According to the Menomonee Falls Police Department, the semi was heading southbound on Boundary Road, and collided with the SUV that was heading northbound on the two-lane road.
There were only two people in the SUV. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person was taken to an area hospital by Flight For Life for treatment of serious injuries. The semi truck driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation. Police say Boundary Road, south of County Line Road will remain closed until the early evening hours as the crash scene is investigated.
